Advanced Biomaterial Systems proudly introduces the Plexis®
Bone Void Filling System, a complete sterile kit consisting
of the unique Plexis® mixing and delivery device, connecting
tube and mixing funnel. The system is designed for the optimal
mixing and delivery of a variety of restorative biomaterials,
including PMMA bone cement. Using Advanced Biomaterial Systems
patented twistOR® technology, the system thoroughly
mixes and delivers multi-component biomaterials in the same
device, eliminating the need for separate syringes, bowls,
tubes, or injectors. A proprietary metered dispensing mechanism
permits precise control of both material volume and placement.
Each rotation of the mixer handle delivers a measured amount
of material to the desired site. Equally important, a counterclockwise
turn of the handle stops material flow immediately, preventing
unwanted flow. A vacuum port permits mixing of materials under
vacuum, if desired. |
